About LHEA and the Word Spirit | Mobile (iOS/Android)

The Android and iOS versions of LHEA and the Word Spirit are free to download and install. Once you've completed the game's introduction, you are offered a one time in-app purchase to unlock the full game. There are no other in-app purchases in the game.

​

Android and iOS app versions of the game will try to verify the expected game version when you open it. It communicates with Epic Online Services and compares a server variable to your local save game. We wanted to notify you directly in the game if there is a newer version of the game to download on the App store / Play store for a smoother and easier process. If you are offline, it's not a problem! You can keep playing with the installed version and can update it later.

If for any reason the game fails to connect to the platform you are playing on, it will never prevent you from playing. It will simply activate Offline Mode and you'll be able to keep progressing! As stated before, the only online requirement is to unlock the full game on mobile app versions of the game (Android, iOS)

About LHEA and the Word Spirit | PC (Steam/Epic)

PC versions of LHEA are entirely offline since Steam and Epic require you to update the game before launching it.

​​

We did enable 'Steam cloud save' directly on Steamworks which doesn't have any impact on the game or your data. The process is entirely handled by Steam.

About Epic Online Services (EOS)

Mobile versions communicate with EOS as previously mentioned. PC versions don't.

​

It is possible that we add achievements on all platforms post-launch. If we do, we will have to connect the game client to Epic Online Services - but we will also add an option in the game settings if you prefer being in 100% offline mode (and therefore not have access to achievements feature).
